Kashi from Blackseal/Yeti NZ setup the devo programme as a way to share some of his past experiences after 13 years racing on the world cup. Kashi's wife (Roshni) plus their two kids, Jasper and Laksmi moved from Dunedin to Rotorua in 2022, in part to be more involved with the high performance MTB scene again. Kashi's goal is to reduce the costs of entry for young riders and their families by offering better deals on bikes and parts. And then to try offer some guidance and mentorship to the riders as they start to approach international racing.
